Restaurant Story – can we cook something out of this?

Hello All,

Please find attached a PDF narrating a story. You might have had similar experiences. Learning from experiences require thinking from others perspective also. Let us give a try to find how good we are in that.

You can also find a questionnaire containing around 10 questions framed on this story. You can answer this questionnaire as an individual. If you conduct regular staff meetings in your organization, then you can show this to your staff members. Divide them into two groups. The first group should come out with answers while the second group should enhance those answers as well as post their objections, if any.

This kind of a debate will be useful for developing analytical as well as logical thinking skills.

If you are interested to check how your dish came out after cooking, send us your answers. We will taste  it and give our feedback.

Fancy Number for your car using MS-EXCEL

Using Excel to calculate a four digit fancy number

Dear All,

I recently got a mail as below. Once in a while readers of my excel book used to send me queries like this. I just thought to share such things through this blog, so that it can be useful for other friends also.

For this particular requirement, I have created a simple excel file. I have attached the screen shot here.

Since wordpress doesn’t support uploading of excel files, I am not able to upload the file.

Dear Mr.Raja

I want to select a 4 digit regn no. to my car and the sum of the 4 digit Regn no. should be 32 or 23 or 5. Kindly tell me a formula to get the 4 digit combinations (0 to 9) to get the above sum in Excel.

Seminars during EdITA computer exhibition 2008

Dear all,

I am glad to post a few photographs taken during the informative seminars conducted during Erode I.T. Association’s Computer Exhibition 2008. As per feedback received from participants, the seminars were considered to be very useful. Two booklets with rich content on the seminar topics were issued free of cost to the participants by the Erode I.T. Association.

I thank Erode I.T. Association for this wonderful opportunity. My special thanks to Mr.Mutharasu, Mr.Balu, Mr.Manokar, Mr.Ashok, Mr.Rajasekar, Mr.Vijay, Mr.Kalyana Kumar, Mr.Srinivasan, Mr.Moorthy and other friends, who has given me excellent support to conduct this seminar in the best possible way.

I also thank Mr.P.N.Prasad, Vice-President, CONFED-ITA who conducted a seminar on “Emerging Trends in Embedded Systems” which was very useful to college students.

Erode I.T.Association Computer Exhibition 2008

Dear all,

I am glad to inform you all that the Erode I.T.Association’s Grand computer exhibition was inaugurated by Shri.Avinash Kumar, Supt of Police Erode. The function was presided over by Thiru.D.Venkateswaran, Vice Chairman of CII and Mr.Sreenivas Sundharrajan, BDM, Microsoft and Mr.Mylsamy, President, EEDDISSIA were the guests of honour.
