I have recently read a book titled “The  Seasons of your Career”. I just thought that I can share a few points from this book in the form a TAMIL presentation along with a questionnaire to be filled. Please go through the presentation. (It will take quite a few minutes for the PDF to load). From slide 15 onwards you will see questions for which you need to simply answer as YES or NO.

You can keep a print copy of  the attached file (4 seasons questionnaire.pdf) and mark you answers.

4 SEASONS QUESTIONNAIRE

Dear All,

Some of you will be using TALLY and may use the option of exporting some data as a EXCEL WORKSHEET.

REQUIREMENT:

A worksheet containing party’s names and outstanding amounts is exported from TALLY. The name of the parties and their mobile phone number is available with me in another worksheet called PHONE.

The data exported from TALLY is placed in the columns A to G.  Now I want a simple formula that could fetch the mobile number of these parties in column H.

Problems: 1. The PHONE worksheet may not contain phone numbers for a few parties. 2. The name of parties may not be in alphabetical order in the worksheet exported by Tally as well in my PHONE worksheet.

Imagine that you have around 4000 cllients. Will it be possible to switch to PHONE worksheet and use the FIND option to find the mobile number of the party as and when required?

Hello All,

I am learning a new thing. It’s LINUX. In particular the debian-dose of LINUX called UBUNTU ver. 8.10. It is really amazing to see a good and easy OS like linux. I am a starter in this area, with an intention to learn more and more.

However, I just thought that I can share something that I have created with whatever knowledge I have gathered in Ubuntu. Infact, with the stuff I have understood so far, I can handle a session for about 3 hours on basics of LINUX.
